I clean my iMac every night when i shut down and then turn it back on the trash is still there even though I deleted all of it used empty trash from finder bar also tried to click on trash bin and clean it out that way anyone else having this issue ? Is there a setting that needs to be turned on my New IMac?

If we understand correctly, you are having an issue with emptying the Bin on your Mac, as you empty it and restart your Mac and the Bin isn't empty as expected. To help isolate this, use safe mode to start up your Mac as it does the following things:
Log in to your user account and test the issue while in safe mode and then restart normally and test the issue again.

However, if these items were on an external disk when you trashed them, and the external disk is not present, than they can't be deleted until the external is plugged in and the trash emptied.
No, read the article. Safe Mode is something you have to do. It resets some things which can be causing odd behaviors like this.
Well, if there are any files in the Trash that can't be deleted, for instance Apple system files, then the Trash won't empty.
I did. Click the link in my first post. It is not a Ventura thing, it is a Mac thing.

All this already maybe in setup of mew iMac its turned off is there a way to find it to turn on? I noticed just like my applemail not woorking oo and have a discussion on that already too. I think some things are turned off somewhere?

yes videos and photos no longer need click on empty trash clears it out then when i restart my Mac is back on the the morning? i deelte them shut down at night and thay are back
