Dear sir/ madam
I want to update my MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012) further OS X so as I can operation other applications without difficulties . My current OS X is OS X Yosemite Version 10.10.5 with memory of 8 GB 1600 MHz DDR3. I try many times but all in vain !!!

Back up your data, check your applications for compatibility, click here, and then on the download link for a newer OS; your computer's maximum is Catalina.
Catalina and newer won't run 32-bit software; download and use Go64 as well as using the first link above.

Thanks for reply, it is very usefully . However I download Go64 and found a table which I don't how to use it because Im not much expert. Could you please again elaborate in simple ways so as it will be easier for me to follow the instruction.

If you're going to upgrade to Catalina or newer, any 32-bit software you have needs to be upgraded or replaced. Otherwise, you don't need to check this.
