The iOS 16.1.1 update makes my phone not interface with my car. Is there a fix?

Fixed! I had to go to car settings, Apple car play, delete my phone, restart car.

Also I had to go to iPhone settings, General, Car Play, forget this device (car), shut down and restart.

Next, proceed as you would with a new iPhone! Add phone to car Apple Play, add car to iPhone (should be automatically)

Hey dr155,

Just to make sure that we're on the same page, are you referring to your iPhone and car's Bluetooth connection? If yes, please check out this article and see if the steps on there are helpful: If you can't connect a Bluetooth accessory to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

If the issue persists, be sure to also get in touch with your car's manufacturer for any possible software updates on their end for your car's stereo.
