Cannot yet receive texts from Amazon
Hi, I am new to Apple. I recently just transferred my data to my new iphone 13. All is well but for signing into Amazon. I cannot receive their text to approve my sign in. I am one that does their research prior to asking for assistance. I have a cellular connection as I can send and receive text messages and I make and receive phone calls. I did contact Amazon customer service and I was told to call back in 15 to 20 minutes. The rep understood my concern but could not remove the two step authentication for me as I requested.
I have verified that imessage is on and that send & receive indicates the correct phone number. I notice in send & receive that it includes my Apple ID as well. I do not know if the texts went to it and I do not know how to check--or if it even goes to the Apple ID. Again, I am new to Apple.
Any suggestions?
