I am trying to use find on page in a document that is opened in safari. This used to work. I can search web pages fine, just not pdf documents. Anyone else?

It is now september 2023 and apple is ignoring this problem!!! I must move over to my windows laptop to find anything in a document!!! Apple, this is pathetic.
yes. please fix it!!! why has it been released with inability to search.
at least reply that this is a big or that this is an intentional change in functionality.

Turn ON ReadableByte Stream
have readable byte on. It has changed nothing.
It’s literally stressing me out to the point that I have to use my sons iPad that hasn’t been updated to the latest iOS software 😅

Not true. I cannot search web pages in the Safari browser. The Find on Page drop-down no longer allows me to enter text
I clear cookies on a regular basis. Makes no difference.
That didn’t do a thing…even after clearing history/website data/cookies and restarting my iPad
This changes nothing… find on page is still non-functional.
Enabling ReadableByteStream fixes it for me. Thanks!
CMND-F isn’t an option on ios
It is on my iPad (searching web pages in Safari).
This worked for me:
Go to Settings > Safari > Advanced > Experimental Features > ReadableByte Stream, then turn ON ReadableByte Stream
I had this problem. Updating to iOS 16.3.1 fixed it.
