How to stop the Find My app from running in the background and draining my phone’s battery?

Hi,

On my iPhone 14 Pro Max the find my app always appears to run in the background, causing my phone to become warm to the touch. For instance, I had 100% battery at 9PM. By 9AM, I had 92%. The Find My app is the culprit.

well I tried disabling the app, turning off Bluetooth and enabling flight mode. All to no avail

this is a strange issue and I would like to know what is causing the FM app to run in the background.

I do not own AirTags so that can’t be the cause.

the white bars spiking when my phone is unused is bothersome.

Iplease assist.
