Siri Found an Event - wrong time zone

This question has been around before and was closed in the discussion. When Siri finds an event in an email it creates a calendar entry but it is out of sync with my time zone (West Australian Standard Time) and instead gives me the USA time in the calendar.

I have tried all the suggestions about adjusting preferences / settings in both the OS and inside Calendar - but it still doesn't work

Last time this was aired it was with Monterey , we are now in Ventura but its still a problem

Hello Ferart Design,

We're glad you had the chance to review the settings specific to Calendar and in System Settings. In addition to those steps, have you tested to see if the issue occurs in another user account? If not, create a test admin user account, log in to that user, and test to see if the issue persists. You can find the steps for creating a test admin user listed below and outlined in the following article.

  1. Click the Apple logo towards the top-left of the display
  2. Click System Settings.
  3. Click Users & Groups.
  4. Click Add Account and follow the prompts to create an Admin user account.
  5. Click the Apple logo towards the top-left, followed by Sign Out.

Change Users & Groups settings on Mac

Let us know the results, and we'll proceed from there.

Have a great day!
