When logging into my MacBook Pro a finder window opens automatically to hoursMinutesAsAdjectives.cat. Any idea why this only started happening after updating to Mac OS13 and how to stop it?

Login Items are things you set to run at login. They were in the Users & Groups system prefs. I think they are in General System Settings, now, but not sure. Searching the Settings should find it.
Is that file listed in your Login Items?
Not sure what you mean by login items... I have the same folder that just started popping up, titled the same way.
