this is correct


the new cpu from apple used the ARM cpu architecture where the version of windows microsoft

sells rely on the intel x86/x64 cpu architecture

Not on your M1 Mac. There is no production version of Windows ARM available to the public. You would need to enroll in the Microsoft Insider Program to get a prerelease version of Windows ARM. This is similar to a beta version and should not be use in anything but a testing environment.
