Backup for iMac

Can I backup my iMac to iCloud. I have 2TB storage there.

No. iCloud allows you to backup iPhones, iPads and iPod touches but not Macs.

Macs can backup to external drives using Time Machine or other backup software but not to iCloud directly.

iCloud storage on a Mac allows you to sync files, photos, contacts, notes, calendar to iCloud, but not direct backup is possible.
