Macbook Pro M1 16-inch design flaw (display hinges pressuring or provoking a soft ding on the aluminum case) Pictures are better than words, please see pictures attached. I purchase my Macbook Pro M1 16-inch on Oct 2021. Today, I notice there are two soft dints on the case exactly were the display hinges are located. The hinges are pressuring the aluminum case to the extend of provoking this situation. The MBP M1 is working flawlessly and I absolutely love it's power and all it's features. Physically, my MBP M1 is in perfect condition, no dents or scratches anywhere with the exception of the 2 identical soft dints in exactly the same place were the display hinges are located. Will call apple support tomorrow to see if there's a recall or reports about this. Want to know if this flaw is widespread, so If anyone has this situation please post your message. Thxs!

New MacBook Air Cover Prevents Lid From Closing All the Way — Is That Okay? Hello! I recently bought a case for my Macbook Air M1 (A2337), the kind that has two components made of hard plastic: one that snaps onto the lid, and another that snaps onto the bottom. I'm currently assessing whether it would be more beneficial or counterproductive to my laptop — I'm an accident-prone student and I need to keep my MacBook Air safe for as long as I can, but if the case harms more than prevents harm, then I'd much rather take it off. I've noticed that the things that keep the case on my laptop (the thicker bits of plastic "hugging" the edges, I'm sorry I don't know what they're called) prevent the lid from making full contact with the bottom. Closing the lid still puts the MacBook on sleep, and the gap between the lid is noticeable but not too severe. I'm scared that the case would negatively affect my computer in the long run, and I'd love some advice from people who know the hardware better. Would it be okay to keep the case on? Thanks in advance!

How good is it to use macbook case for a long term laptop health? I recently bought a MacBook pro m3 max 14' laptop and also a case. I was wondering if it's okay to use case shells with MacBook. Will it do any harm? I put in the case and I realized there is very tiny(almost un-noticeable) gap cased by the case between my lid and laptop when I put it down.
