Why does voice to text change to wrong words When it had it right the first time

If dictation is changing correct words to incorrect words on your iPhone, you'll want to start by making sure your iPhone is running the latest software version, which is iOS 16.1.1. You can check the version that's installed currently by going to Settings > General > About > Software Version. If needed, learn how to update here: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

Are you seeing any of the words underlined in blue? We ask because this could be letting you know there is an issue:

If dictation isn’t sure what word it heard, you'll see a blue line under the transcribed word so you can check it for accuracy. To make corrections, tap the underlined word, then select the correct spelling. To replace a word, double-tap it, tap the microphone button , then say it again, and tap the keyboard button .
