Hey, my iPhone 11 pro max stopped supporting it’s original charging cable for who know what reason but when i am using an off brand cable which makes me worry about my phones battery’s life, working find. Anyone knows why it’s happening? Thank you
Then the phone is fine and you have a couple defective cables. If you want Apple OEM cables, buy a new OEM cable from Apple. Honestly, any iPhone charging cable which is certified MFi (Made for iPhone) is fine to use.

If it charges with a 3rd party cable, then the original cable is broken and needs to be replaced. There is no requirement to charge with an official Apple cable. And it won't hurt the health of your iPhone battery.
Perhaps I misunderstood. I thought when you referred to an off brand cable, your phone charged? If it won't charge with the official cable or an off brand cable, schedule an appointment at your Apple Store Genius Bar for evaluation and options.
You're welcome. You do know you can go wireless charging and not worry about using cables at all. Personally, I haven't plugged my phone into a cable to charge since iPhone X.
That’s the confusion here. It charges with off brand cable but with the official one. It’s very strange. I have tried a spare original cable as well and it doesn’t charge but when i try any off brand cable it work fine.
