Apple tv keeps asking to start trial even though I have a subscription - but only on one of my samsung tvs (which is new)

subscribe to apple tv and it shows in the account, but can't watch the shows - still asks to start a trial. Called apple support, they have no help other than unplug the tv. only on this samsung tv, which is new. Other tvs (including samsung) work. I even tried connect the apple tv box to this tv and it still only offers a trial. Help!

Verify that you are signed in to the Apple TV app, through the in-app Settings (sprockets wheel icon), with the Apple ID account that has the subscription.
