iTunes on Apple TV/password

iTunes won't recognoze my password on my apple TV, so I can't play any of my rented movies.
Anyone have a fix for this? I have so far done a power reset and I have de-authorized and re-authorized my computer in itunes store. I want to watch my movies. Family coming for 2 nights. Help please.

What password?

Are you referring to the code you enter to pair the tv with itunes.

So we are back to the proxy server again. And the proxy server would not prevent my ipad from connecting? My sister's macbook cannot connect to the internet on my network, but can if I connect it directly to the dsl modem. My computer connects to the internet wirelessly thru my network. Why won't anything else? This is not making any sense to me.

Solved!!! Sitting here waiting for Apple to call, I decided to go thru my Airport settings again.
Thought I had found the problem when I changed the Advanced IPv6 setting from "local" to "tunnel". Nope. But I kept going thru the settings and in the Internet>TCP/IP settings, I noticed that my airport still had the old DNS Server numbers!!!!! Hurray, everything works. When I switched over, we changed them in System Preferences>network but not in my Airport. The only thing that still confuses me is why my iPad didn't have the wrong DNS Server numbers, but maybe it connects differently than a regular laptop?
