On what device with the Apple TV app are your trying to watch this content?
I'll ask the question again.. HOW DO I UPGRADE TO 4K?
And I’ll repeat: For titles purchased as SD quality, contact the staff for assistance. For titles purchased in HD quality: no action needed to get 4K, if available. Some titles may not be available in 4K (yet) on this platform, per studio decision. It may also be different per country (4K in one country, but HD in another country).
Do I have to delete the title from my Library and re-purchase it?
Users can’t change Apple’s accounting books, including your purchase history. As mentioned previously, only the staff may be able to make edits with authorization, to facilitate a new purchase.
You cannot even see how much that is going to cost before you make the purchase.
Every title or box set for sale shows its buy price and/or rent price. Not entirely sure how it is shown on a device where in-app purchases are currently not supported (Fire TV, Android TV, Sony TV) [2], as I don’t have one of those.
And for a popular titles like the Harry Potter series you will only get 5.1 Dolby Digital .. no DTS:X mix which is a pretty glaring omission.
No iTunes Store title has DTS/DTS:X sound. Instead select titles offer Dolby Atmos. Other possible audio formats include 7.1, 5.1, and 2.0 audio. As supplied by the studios, in the quality that they wanted it to be.
I will NOT be purchasing anymore content from Apple.
This is a user-to-user forum, not Apple staff. Purchase what you want, or don’t.
