command v doesn't work

hello all help me, im just trying to paste(command v) weeks ago i just using it but now it isn't work so i using my mouse command c is working , command x is working but command v isn't work so i using my mouse to paste so please help me

If you haven't already, we suggest restarting the Mac. Restarting has resolved software issues such as this. To restart "On your Mac, choose Apple menu > Restart." For future reference, you can also see the steps in this article: Shut down or restart your Mac.


If restarting doesn't work, reset the SMC. For information about resetting the SMC and also the steps to do so, click on this link: Reset the SMC of your Mac.


If you continue to experience the issue, confirm it's not app specific by testing in different apps. If it is app specific, troubleshoot it. Troubleshooting steps include, making sure the app is up-to-date, removing it and reinstalling, and testing in safe mode.


Safe mode helps determine if the issue is related to software that loads as the Mac Boots up. Steps to boot into safe mode are here: Start up your Mac in safe mode.


Troubleshoot based on whether the issue continued in safe mode or not. The steps are listed here: How to use safe mode on your Mac.
