Preview not opening ARW files for Sony A7R5

Sony has a new camera - the A7R5 and the ARW files are somehow different to the ARW files for the previous model of camera.

I remember the same thing happened when Sony brought out the A7R4 three years ago.

And yet Adobe PS, Raw Right Away, Affinity all open the new files without a problem.

Is it too much to ask Apple to talk to Sony before a release and have Preview ready for the new files?

Now I have to change my workflow until Apple sort this out. I will have to use Photoshop for jobs that Preview does much better and quicker. [Sigh......]
