Lock screen wallpaper shuffle limited to 50 images

I love photo shuffle to rotate lock screen wallpapers. But why did Apple limit it to 50 images? What if a user has 51, 80, or 150 favourite images? This arbitrary limit seems unnecessary and I fail to understand its purpose.

Photo Shuffle Limit defeats the purpose of Photo Shuffle. Why would photo shuffle limit be 50? The purpose for it, is to pull from so many photos, so that it'll surprise you every time you get a new wallpaper or a new quote. From a limit of 50, they become familiar very quick, especially when it changes 'at lock', and the magic is gone just as quick. It defeats the whole purpose of this feature. Please fix, it gets more ridiculous the longer it stays like this. (Also, there should be a something of a "weight" to an image, so it can appear more frequently. Right now bypassing it is done by just having additional copies, which seems redundant, but such a simple feature is missing. Cool.)

I currently used a Shared Album to display ‘favorite’ pictures of my daughter of her life so far. I currently have 5000 pictures and she’s only 15! The “Shared Album” is only shared with 1 or 2 people, but it is primarily accessed on an AppleTV to display the photo album. This creates a wonderful screensaver on our TV. With the 5000 item limit, it randomly shuts down the whole experience and caps it arbitrarily. Can you raise the 5000 photo limit, please!? Alternatively, you could allow the AppleTV screensaver to access or pull from 2 (or more) albums?
