While using a MacBook as a display for your iPad isn't supported, we can provide some other options that may help with what you're trying to accomplish.


Connect iPad to a display with a cable gives some great options. "With the appropriate cable or adapter, you can connect your iPad to a secondary display, like a computer display, TV, or projector, where you can view the iPad screen."


If both devices meet system requirements, you can Use an iPad as a second display for a Mac. Find the system requirements for this below:


"Sidecar system requirements

Sidecar works with these devices and operating systems.

macOS Catalina or later

iPadOS 13 or later
