Imessage does not synch between decices

Hi,

thanks for the suggestion. On the iPad and iPhone, I opened message in settings, turn off the switch for message, then turned it back in….and set all the ways in which a message can be sent and received to be the same on the devices.

this worked fine for me. I do not remember how I originally set it up with regards to your suggestion. But somewhere on some update things changed.
