I requested a refund for music I purchased from the iTunes store, am I required to erase and destroy all copies?

Hello all, I purchased a 14$ album from the iTunes store, but then requested a refund of the money a month or 2 later so I could put that money towards other expences I have, Am I required to erase all copies of those songs I have? Is it illegal for me to keep copies of those songs after requesting a refund on reportaproblem.apple.com? I read the terms and conditions for the iTunes store and I couldn't find an answer, I did a google search and still couldn't find a clear answer. Any help would be greatly appreciated, if it's against the terms and conditions or even against the law to keep the copies of the refunded music on my mac I most definitely will erase all copies I have of those songs. Thanks in advance.
