Aperture won't read DNG files

I would have liked to revive the thread Aperture won't read DNG files but its too old.

Anyway, I got some raw images in the .RAF format from a friend that uses a Fujifilm X-T2. I am still stuck with Aperture 3.6 and I dread the day it will not work anymore. Anyhow, here is how to get the images into Aperture:

  1. Download the Adobe Digital Negative Converter from https://helpx.adobe.com/camera-raw/using/adobe-dng-converter.html
  2. Install it on a recent Mac that has at least OS 11 Big Sur
  3. Convert it using a custom compatibility setting: [√] Linear
