How do I purchase an iPhone as a gift for someone in another country?

Hi, I live in Australia and want to purchase an iPhone for my mum who now lives in Greece.

I thought about purchasing one here in Australia and sending it by post?

ideally, however I would prefer to somehow order online from apple.gr but not sure how to do that.

Has anyone got any ideas? Look forward to hearing from someone. Cheers Nick

Hello,

Hmm, that is somewhat difficult. You should normally buy an iPhone in the same country where it will be used. There are warranty and payment issues otherwise.

You might try this link to get some ideas:

Good luck.
