Xcode Command Line Tools 14.1

I'm running MacOS 12.6.1, recently i've installed Xcode Command Line Tools 14.1. But when I run the command

%clang -v

I get:

@MacBook-Air ~ % clang -v

Apple clang version 14.0.0 (clang-1400.0.29.202)

Target: x86_64-apple-darwin21.6.0

Thread model: posix

InstalledDir: /Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/usr/bin

Why the version appeared to be 14.0.0 instead of 14.1? According to apple Monterey is supported.

MacBook Air 13″, macOS 12.6

Xcode 14.1 clang identifies itself as 14.0.0, yes.

$ clang -v
Apple clang version 14.0.0 (clang-1400.0.29.202)
Target: x86_64-apple-darwin21.6.0
Thread model: posix
InstalledDir: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin
$

"Why" is not a question anybody around here can authoritatively answer, in the absence of a statement or documentation from Apple. Swift got updates, while clang seemingly did not.
