SD Card not recognized on Mac running Monterey
iMac 21.5″ 4K, macOS 12.6
Tbirdvet,
Thanks for response. I'm plugging right into back of computer in a SD slot, using Sandisk card for what's that worth. Card was working for years (from my camera) and just stopped. Card still captures pictures so I figure card not damaged.
This issue has been reported on and off. What are you using to read the card and is the reader connected directly to you Mac to through a hub. Try connecting directly. I had the same issue earlier and found differences in cards. My Sandisk card was most reliable.
Try reformatting the SD CArd in the Camera and try again connecting to computer.
Have a Old Canon ELF using SD cards to max of 2 GB and from time to time the reformat revives the card on the Ventura computer
Glad to hear.

When I first installed Monterey my SD card would not work in my 2019 27" iMac. But when I updated later to latest level it started working again. I would be sure you are at 12.6.1 OS release.
Thanks the update from 12.6 to 12.6.1 did the job - appreciate
Thanks for suggestion - OS update worked so I won't have to try this alternative.
Welcome 👍
