Shutting down while charging or inserting ear pod
Iphone Xs max shutdowns while charging and inserting ear pod. checked with other lightning cables. it happens for all the charger/lightning cable as well.

It suggests that you have a hardware problem in the area of the Lightning port.
You should probably arrange a repair as soon as possible after backing up the iphone. You may have to rely on iCloud Backup and maybe increase iCloud storage temporarily
