Can the AirPods Pro be charged with lightning cable?

Hi

Can anyone help

My daughter wants AirPods for Xmas. She doesn't mind whether she gets the 3rd Gen ones, or the AirPods Pro 2nd gen.

Quick Q re the AirPods Pro ... it says the case has MagSafe charging but can it also be charged with a cable such as a lightning lead?? As she's not got a MagSafe charger.

Yes, they all charge using a lightning connector.

A cable is included in the box.

What’s in the Box

AirPods Pro

MagSafe Charging Case with speaker and lanyard loop˄

Silicone ear tips (four sizes: XS, S, M, L)

Lightning to USB-C Cable

The case actually can be charged with a Lightning cable as the plug-in for cable is on the bottom of the case. But you might need a "Lightning to USB" cable to charge it. Here's what the support website said when I searched for answers to your question:

If you have AirPods or AirPods Pro, make sure that the Lightning to USB cable is firmly plugged into the charging case and USB power adapter. Then make sure that the power adapter is correctly plugged into a power outlet.
