iCloud hidden folders syncing

If I have a hidden photos folder on my current iPhone, and I have hidden my recycle bin, will my hidden folders and pictures still sync to my previous iPhone that is still linked to my iCloud?

Hi IOSgirl129,

Thanks for posting in Apple Support Communities. When you use iCloud Photos, all of your albums and photos are synced across all devices. However, as mentioned in Hide photos on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac - Apple Support, "When you hide photos and videos, they move to the Hidden album, so they don't appear in your Library, in other albums, or in the Photos widget on your Home Screen."

If you have devices that you do not use that still appear on your iCloud account, you can remove them if needed. Below are steps you can take from your iPhone found in Check your Apple ID device list to find where you're signed in - Apple Support.

"Use your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple Watch to find where you're signed in

  1. Tap Settings > [your name], then scroll down.
  2. Tap any device name to view that device's information, such as the device model, serial number, OS version, and whether it's a trusted device that can be used to receive Apple ID verification codes. The information might vary depending on the device type. You might need to answer your security questions to view device details."

"Use your iPhone or iPad to remove a device

  1. Tap the device to find its details, then tap Remove from Account.
  2. Review the message that appears, then tap again to confirm that you want to remove the device."

Take care.
