Sony WH1000XM5 only outputting sound on one side.
I've had these headphones for around 6 months now and they've been working flawlessly with my macbook pro. Recently after answering a call while the headphones were connected to the macbook they stopped outputting sound from the right side. This has happened to me before with another pair of headphones during the exact same scenario. I answered a call, as I had done multiple times before, and after the call ended it just stopped outputting sound from one of the sides.
After this problem occurred I tried taking another call to see what happened and, during the call the headphones work as they should, outputting sound from both sides whetter that be from the call or from content just playing in the background during the call. Immediately after I hang up however, there's a very slight pause and then the sound from the right side stops.
I have tried reseting the headset to it's factory settings, restarting the computer and forgetting the device. Updating the computer to the latest version didn't help either.
I desperately need a fix for this. The headphones work as they should everywhere else including my iPhone, it really is only on the macbook.

I've made one more discovery concerning this problem, the headphones work properly when the microphone is being used. Tried it on a mic tester website and I could hear the content on another tab on both sides. I'm not sure how this information can help but hope it does.
