Visual Voicemail - NOT carrier problem

I no longer have visual voicemail on my iPhone 8 after iOS 16 update completed two days ago. All calls prior to the update retained visual voicemail message, but none since.

This is NOT a carrier issue. There are too many iPhone users from too many different carriers having the same issue. It is extremely frustrating.

I would be so grateful for a response other than “It’s a carrier issue.” Thank you, in advance, to whomever can solve this glitch!

No, it’s clearly a carrier’s problem. Calls that don’t connect are sent to voicemail by the network, before they ever get to your phone. After the call is recorded on the carriers server it is sent to the voicemail app on your phone. How many voicemails do you have? Carrier voicemail has a pretty low limit, typically around 40. What do you hear when you call your phone from another number and don’t answer?

Thank you for responding. I don’t understand why so many people are having the same sudden issue. If it is a carrier issues, please help me understand why it happened from the update. I’m not being argumentative, I just want solution. I’ve restarted multiple times and am clueless as to how I sync my voicemail with Verizon. Again, I’d appreciate any help. Ty.
