Downloading an already downloaded app

My mom had downloaded Geometry Dash on her phone and she’s connected to my iCloud family, before when I wanted to download it it said “Family member has already downloaded this app” or something like that and then it let me download it for free, it’s been around 3-4 months since I deleted it again and now it says I have to purchase it. Why? And how can I fix it?
