I am trying to update my iPhone with my iMac- a warning sign says-
‘there are purchased items on the iPhone that have not been transferred to your iMac. You should transfer these items to your Max before updating the iPhone’
Question - how do I find everything I have purchased? And how to I transfer it to my iMac?

They are usually talking about media, most often Music but can be films etc.
Download them direct to your Mac from the source. You may have to authorise the Mac in iTunes/Music app.
