I have a client who still has Google Desktop installed on their Macbook, even though it was retired in 2011. When I try to open the app's Preferences in System Information to uninstall it, all I get is an error message saying it can't be opened. Given this, how do I remove Google Desktop?

Again, not at all helpful. Not only was this a duplicate of the earlier non-helpful reply, but as noted in the OP, this app was retired in 2011. The devs are not available.
