I've had my new AirPods Max for an entire 15 minutes out of the box and i notice on songs that have strong bass the left speaker sounds like a flat speaker or blown, i've tried to un pair and re pair them via bluetooth and have made sure their software is up to date but it still has not changed anything. should i just exchange them and hope a new pair is not defective? or are all headphones like this and i should just return them?

Since your headphones are brand new, we do think that the best thing to do would be to head back to where you purchased them and see if they can take a look. This may be something that they can simply offer a replacement for. They can also have a listen to them and see if there appears to be a physical issue or if perhaps the sound simply isn't what you were hoping to experience.

If you want to restore your pod back to 100% then you’re going to have to have it replaced or send it in to have it fixed which will cost more sometimes . I have turned mine into a Bluetooth speaker but that takes a little bit to know how. You can do so, if your tech savvy, although I would not recommend it unless you have some knowledge in Soldering and electrical components . Apple has both of those I would recommend sending it in and have them take a look at it if you are absolutely an a loss .
