5g in Iphone 13

The sub-heading says, "Airtel 5G Plus works on all 5G handsets. Use this handy guide to check which handsets are already enabled by device manufacturers."

Airtel has smartly mentioned it as "To be updated" not mentioning who and by when. In the "Others" section they have clearly said Google to Update Software.

So everyone in India is waiting for Apple to update.

There is a difference in 5G technology launched by two Major operators in India, Jio and Airtel. Reliance Jio has a 5G SA (standalone) technology, while Airtel has a 5G NSA (non-standalone).

While 5G SA is independent and doesn't require a 4G core technology, 5G NSA used by Airtel depends on the 4G core.

I am guessing this change in technology by Airtel requires a software update which Apple may or may not agree.
