apple mail lost favorites inbox
How to get back the ability to enter the all mailbox. it is now greyed out and the shortcut to all the email accounts is missing

Welcome to the Apple Community.
As the Mail app doesn't seem to be working properly for you,
you might first try restarting your Mac, which often sets things to rights.
Eg Quit the Mail app.
Click the black Apple icon on the left in the top menu > choose restart.
When Mac restarts, log back in and re-open the Mail app to check.
Or
Occasionally a Mailbox can be accidentally dragged / swiped into another (usually nearby) Mailbox.
You could check that hasn't happened to "All Inboxes"

Updating MacOS to a newer version may help restore Mail:
Eg: Mac OS12.6.1 (Monterey) or Mac OS 13.0.1 (Ventura)
