Extremely Blurry Macbook Pro M1 Screen. Hardly able to see what’s on the screen

Hi Everyone, I was wondering if anyone had this problem and how to resolve this issue.

I’m having an issue with my MacBook Pro’s screen. It is a 16’ MacBook Pro 2022. I bought it about five months ago. The Mac is responsive and I can still click on things and even sign in and use an external display. The issue is with the display as it is heavily blurred and darkened. I am not able to see anything on the screen and can only make out rough shapes.

Hi vickenj21, I took it to the apple store and the screen was replaced under warranty, I was told the screen/component failed. The laptop is only about 6 months old, so its under warranty.

Hi,

Just wonder what happens if you disconnect external display. If it becomes normal screen, you should check displays setting.

Thank you @kaz-k, I tried that when i disconnect external display, it remains the same blurred and darkened

Hey! by any chance you found a solution? i was using mine earlier, tried using my laptop now and same thing is happening to the screen m it is dark and blurry.
