Apple books doesn't count reading time for pdf books .

It's so disappointing when you read a pdf book and apple books doesn't count that !!

I hope that Apple fix that .

Getting Time of Day To Appear Continuously in Apple Books iPad/iPhone I have just upgraded to iOS16. In the prior iOS's version of Apple Books, one could click on the page to have the time of day posted at upper left portion of screen, and the page number with total pages posted at the bottom. Now that only appears initially when you click on the settings icon in the lower part of the screen. And then it disappears. Knowing the time of day when I am doing reading of any sort is important to me. I just have a feeling that there is a setting for this that I am missing. I have already checked Books setting in Preferences and it is not there. Any thoughts?

Amazon Kindle App on my iPad, Reading Progress I had to reregister my App. I had a difficult time getting the time up on the reading page, finally accomplished it. I still can’t get the time left in chapter and time left in book at bottom of page to work as it once did. It says “Learning Reading Speed” or “Page x of x” and I have already read an entire book. How can I get it to toggle through the three choices?

Reading goals in Books on MacOS cannot be turned off The reading goal is meaningless and a redundant feature to me so I turned if off the first time I saw it. Next time I opened the app the reading goal reappeared. So I turned it off again. Next time I opened the app the reading goal reappeared. So I turned it off again.
