Why the Screen Recorder resolution of iPhone 14 Pro is smaller than iPhone 7 Plus?

I upgraded my phone from iPhone 7 Plus to iPhone 14 Pro when it came out. I noticed that when I used the native Screen Recorder, the saved video resolution is 1920x886. And when I used it in iMovie, the output ended up as 1280x720. All the settings for video including camera are already set in the highest settings. Compared to my older iPhone 7 Plus, I can use the Sreen Recorder and records it at 1920x1080 and still keep the same resolution after saving it with iMovie. These are both the native Screen Recording app from the Control Center. No third party recorder app installed.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong since all of the settings I have are set to the highest settings. Is the Screen Recorder only limited to what the screen dimension of the phone? iPhone 7 Plus screen resolution is 1080x1920. iPhone 14 Pro screen resolution is 1179x2556. 14 Pro have a bigger screen so I don't know why it only records at 1920x886?

Please let me know if there's additional settings that I need to change. Thank you.
