Hello Everyone! I have been searching for an answer for this same problem, and finally came up with a solution. When you add the printer, just select "other software" (not the generic type), and in the drivers list, you should select HP LaserJet Pro MFP M125-M126. This made my HP Laserjet Pro M12w printer work with a Mac Book Pro M1 2021, Ventura 13. Hope it works for you too.

Install the app HP Smart from the Mac App Store that should fix it.
This solution worked for me (HP LaserJet MFP M28w, Ventura 13.01, MacBook Pro). Thanks a million!

Better to look at HP's website and check if they provide a Ventura compatible drive for your printer model:
Hi,
Which exact HP printer model? It is difficult to answer your question without this information.
I had to download drivers from a couple of different hp sites. I'm not sure at this point, which one finally worked. However, here is one link to hp drivers: https://123.hp.com/us/en/
It is best if you can locate the latest driver for your particular printer model. Here is the link I used for mine, which you may be able to customize to access your model: https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-laserjet-pro-m118-m119-series/21996892/model/21996893
Hi NadiaBR,
Have you tried the V3.93.08 universal driver https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib/software13/printers/SS/Print_Common_SW/Samsung_Mac_Driver_V3.93.08.dmg ?
Also, if you have one of the following (exact) models, AirPrint should work:
Have you rebooted since you installed the 5.1 driver? If not do so.
Thanks but no success.
The only solution for me at this moment is to connect the printer with USB to my iMac i7 running OS12 and share the printer over my network.
And hope HP and others come up with a solution.
I see many many users cannot print with several brands of printers since 13.1
Hope for the best,
Greets from Austria
For USB solution, I've used HP easy start and HP easy admin, with success.
You must do exactly what to do with them !
Good luck,
Hi,
As you probably know, the HP support page for the M12w only offers drivers for macOS 10.14 and earlier.
If this driver does not work with macOS 13 Ventura, any luck with HP Easy Admin?
Have you rebooted since installing it? Boot into Safe Mode according to How to use safe mode on your Mac and see if you can print from there. Reboot normally and test again.
Note: if you have a wireless keyboard with rechargeable batteries connect it with its charging cable before booting into Safe Mode. This makes it act as a wired keyboard as will assure a successful boot into Safe Mode.

I have a Macbook Air running Ventura 13.2
I am trying to print from this laptop to my HP Envy 100 D410 series printer.
My printer appears "offline" or non-responsive despite being online + connected to the same wifi network.
I ran HPSmart "Fix & Diagnose" and it tells me there is a driver error. I then went to the HP website to see if there was anything there + this is what I found: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-100-e-all-in-one-printer-series-d410/4073853
I am not tech savvy - does this mean that my printer is no longer compatible with my Macbook because I updated to Ventura?
Please help :(
