I cannot access ANY of my notifications! Help.

I have updated my iPhone XS Max. Now I cannot swipe down my notifications. Nothing appears. How do I fix this issue??

You have iOS 16 installed on your iPhone XS Max. Notifications can be accessed by SWIPING UP from the bottom on the Lock Screen in iOS 16.
