Turned Follow-up Off But, Still Following Up

Can anyone help with this issue? After installing IOS 16, turned off Follow-Up in Settings Mail for iPad. Restarted iPad. Email still following up. For example, emails sent Monday are displayed in inbox on Friday. Can clear the Follow-up at the email level but, it should never been generated. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

If you've disabled the feature and it's re-enabling itself, you'll need to reach out to Apple to look into this with you further to help you resolve this: Apple Support
