iOS is terrible - several issues/bugs

Since updating, my iPhone is behaving erratically and much much worse than before. Everything about 16 is just awful.

1.

On Spotify, I am getting random split second cut-outs in sound, both on wifi and when I'm outdoors.

This never used to happen, not even once in many years of usage.

2.

The loading of photos (to send/upload) slows down performance greatly in Instagram and Whatsapp. The photos used to just show up instantly, now you have to wait a long time for them to load.

Normally I go into a chat in Whatsapp and select image to send. Every time I try to do this, now, the screen freezes and I have to force quit.

3.

The notifications on the homescreen is an absolute mess and disaster. Confusing, illogical, irritating and change merely for the sake of change.

You have to swipe up/down or something (still have not worked it out). And if you have music playing it's very easy to skip a song or forward/rewind the music by accident, while trying to actually get to your notifications.

4.

Battery seems to drain a lot faster.

Not necessarily. The long process of applying an iOS update to an iPhone with a weak battery can be the proverbial "straw that broke the camel's back." And since you wrote: "Battery seems to drain a lot faster"...

Does your iPhone X still have its original battery?

And what's the Maximum Capacity % here?...

Thanks.

This phone has a replacement battery installed by Apple in March of this year.

It's on 89% battery health.

Since updating the phone's iOS, it's been running very badly and unreliably.

Everything was fine before this update.

For no reason it was "Restoring from iCloud" for my entire photo library. And many of my faces/people which took forever to scan have now been lost, and it needs to scan them again.
