How do I add a video to VLC from my photo album?
iPhone 11 Pro, iOS 15
That sounds complicated. Frame capture is built into Photos. Just File>Export, like this:

I guess that was your question, right? ...not add a video to VLC... whatever that is??
No need for VLC. Just QuickTime Player.app > Edit > Copy ... Preview.app > File > New from Clipboard > File > Save... as desired format.
Try "Image>Edit with" like here:
I have no idea what many of those apps are-- I need to clean out my applications folder....
