Apple wallet

I used my apple wallet twice at Safeway grocery store in Hayward and twice fraudulent charges appeared on the card I used to pay. I realize several people have posted that Apple Pay can not be hacked but I’m not convinced. Fortunately this appeared on my credit card so the damages were reversed and nothing lost but I am no longer using my apple wallet for payment. Also my husband attempted to make a purchase through his phone, the payment was declined then his phone crashed. So again I am not convinced that apple wallet is a secure way to pay.

Apple wallet is amongst the most secure ways to pay as your card number is never exposed, only a device ID. Further all transactions require authentication through Face ID or Touch ID. It’s improbable that your device has been hacked as there are no known exploits that would affect Apple Pay. It’s far more likely that your information was exposed some other way
