You don't need to do anything to "turn it on" - you just place the phone on a Qi-compliant wireless charger such that the coil in your phone lines up with the coil in the charger.
That isn't possible in various chargers due to bad assumptions made by their makers, but there's nothing you need to do to "turn it on."
