sim card is lock

I wanted to know how i can manually fix my phone. It says my sim is locked but I am still able to call and text. I did purchase this phone through metro PCS

if the sim card is locked then you need the puk code read Use a SIM PIN for your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support

if the phone is locked with another carrier then read How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
