Sim locked on iPhone

I can't access the phone when I insert the Sim card

Contact the original carrier to which the card is locked and ask them to unlock the card. They may be under no obligation to do this.

The original carrier is the only source to unlock the old SIM card. You cannot install a new card until the old card has been unlocked.
