Friends are receiving fake iMessages from me giving away the actual location i’m heading for, and asking to meet at my ETA. I’m away from home and using Apple Maps to get to this location. How can this happen

Solved. I must have put the phone in my pocket without switching off and SHARE ETA was activated involuntarily, sending messages to my contacts. Whew!!!!
